Soothing Lard Balm

Our Soothing Balm is infused in-house with anti-inflammatory whole plants to soothe tender and irritated skin. This beautiful non-greasy and non-comedogenic formula can be used for acne prone skin, and can help reduce the appearance of rosacea, dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis.

The anti inflammatory and soothing ingredients also work well as an after sun balm for sun burns.

As we don't use essential oils, Soothing Balm is entirely safe to use on delicate baby skin and as a diaper rash cream.

Triple purified pastured leaf lard. Rich in saturated fats to promote a healthy barrier and deeply nourish the skin. It has slightly lower saturated fats than tallow, so can be a better option for those with acne-prone skin. 

Pasture leaf lard is naturally rich in Vitamin D. It has been shown that vitamin D may assist in reducing inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Vitamin D regulates many physiological processes in the skin ranging from cellular proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis to barrier maintenance and immune function.

Organic Cold Pressed Jojoba Oil. Naturally occurring vitamin E to fight oxidative stress. It is very similar to human sebum, meaning it is non-comedogenic and can help control sebum production. May help relieve dryness, flaking, itching, and related symptoms

Local Raw Beeswax. To form a natural barrier on the skin surface, protecting skin from environmental irritants. It hydrates the skin and reinforce skin's natural moisture barrier. Great for sensitive, inflamed and irritated skin.

Vitamin E (soy free sourced from organic sun flowers) an extra boost of Vitamin E to help keep skin soft and protect from oxidative stress. It moisturises the skin and relieves itch, dryness and flaking and may help reduce scarring.

In-house Organic extract infusions of Lion's Mane, Calendula, Chamomile and Marshmallow Leaf. This special blend of extracts was specially selected to soothe irritation and ease skin discomfort, reduce inflammation, and for their antioxidant properties to help fight free radical damage and assist in cell renewal.

Please note sometimes the colour and scent of the product may vary. This is because the product is naturally made with seasonal ingredients in small batches.
