Our animal fats are sourced locally in NSW, rendered in-house and purified 3+ times

Our Tallow is grass-fed from the pristine Southern Highlands.

Our Lard is sourced from a small regenerative in Murringo, just outside of Canberra, from happy pigs free to explore and dig about.

Our animal fats are triple purified and we aim to have very minimal beefy/porky smells. While for some people it may be not noticeable, others may be a little more sensitive.

We personally feel our tallow has a sweet nutty smell. However, although we purify our tallow and aim for little to no scent, it is still an animal product. We make our tallow in small batches and the scent can vary batch to batch, due to the seasons and pastures the cows graze upon. It is not always possible to completely remove the scent of tallow without using harsh chemical deodorisers. 

All of our products are infused with real medicinal botanicals, which have a softer scent unlike essential oils and fragrances.

Our products are almost good enough to eat! (But please don’t)

We don’t use any essential oils or fragrances in our products, and there are absolutely no harsh chemicals.

So YES! Our products are absolutely safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding.
