Our Soothing Balm is infused in-house with anti-inflammatory whole plants to soothe tender and irritated skin. This beautiful non-greasy and non-comedogenic formula can be used for acne prone skin, and can help reduce the appearance of rosacea, dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis.
The anti inflammatory and soothing ingredients also work well as an after sun balm for sun burns.
As we don't use essential oils, Soothing Balm is entirely safe to use on delicate baby skin and as a nappy rash cream.

Store below 30 degrees, away from direct sunlight. Use within 6 months of purchase.

Pasture Raised Lard
Our Lard is made from pastured leaf fat (the prized fat around the kidneys, the equivalent of suet from cattle). Rich in saturated fats to promote a healthy barrier and deeply nourish the skin. It has slightly lower saturated fats than tallow, so can be a better option for those with acne-prone skin.

Organic Jojoba Oil
A low PUFA oil, suitable for all skin types. It is rich in Vitamins E, A, B, D, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids, helps regenerate skin cells, reduce inflammation and provide lasting moisture. Its light consistency absorbs quickly, locks in hydration, balances oil production to prevent breakouts, and its antioxidants repair and protect mature skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Local Beeswax
Beeswax is a natural emollient that helps to lock in moisture, making it great for keeping the skin hydrated and soft. It also forms a protective barrier on the skin, shielding it from environmental irritants while allowing the skin to breathe. For brightening the complexion and for all skin types without many concerns, we recommend Illuminate Balm.

Where are your ingredients sourced?
Our animal fats are sourced locally in NSW, rendered in-house and purified 3+ times
Our Tallow is grass-fed from the pristine Southern Highlands.
Our Lard is sourced from a small regenerative in Murringo, just outside of Canberra, from happy pigs free to explore and dig about.
Do your products have an animal smell?
Our animal fats are triple purified and we aim to have very minimal beefy/porky smells. While for some people it may be not noticeable, others may be a little more sensitive.
All of our products are infused with real medicinal botanicals, which have a softer scent unlike essential oils and fragrances.
Are your products pregnancy/breastfeeding safe?
Our products are almost good enough to eat! (But please don’t)
We don’t use any essential oils or fragrances in our products, and there are absolutely no harsh chemicals.
So YES! Our products are absolutely safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding.
