A solid shampoo bar with no added synthetic detergents or surfactants. Hand made naturally & traditionally through saponifying fats and oils.

Rosemary is rich in Carnosic acid which can stimulate the scalp and follicles for healthy hair growth. It is also rich in Vitamin C which stimulates collagen production and in turn can assist in hair growth.

Nettle is rich in sulfur and silica, delivering essential nutrients to the follicles and assisting in regeneration.

Traditionally, rice water has been used for generations for healthy hair. Specifically, rice is rich in inositol, which has been shown to increase elasticity and reduce friction of the hair.

The perfect hair routine

1. Massage Scalp Elixir into scalp and leave on for 1-2 hours or more

2. Wash scalp thoroughly with Shampoo Bar by lathering into scalp, avoiding washing the ends of your hair. Rinse shampoo off with water.
Ensure bar is thoroughly dry before storing in tin to maximise its life.

3. Rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar. Mix approximately 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water in a squeeze sauce bottle and squeeze the mixture through your scalp/hair. Wash out thoroughly with water

4. Apply Hair Conditioner to your ends and rinse thoroughly.

A synthetic surfactant based shampoo (liquid and solid bars) strips your scalp of its natural oils. If you have never used a solid shampoo soap bar in the past, please note there may be an adjustment period of 1-2 months of your scalp rebalancing its oils.

Please note this Shampoo Bar may not be suitable if you have hard water in your home. You may need a shower filter to soften your water in order to use this Shampoo Bar successfully.

Best thing ever happened to my hair

I have thin & gentle curly hair. I've been using this shampoo + conditioner + apple cider vinegar water for over a month now, and I love it!!! It took me a few washes to adapt to the new way of doing things, but after that, my hair started looking much better and staying cleaner for longer.

Feels like I went into salt water post shampoo

I struggle to believe the review below are real. This is by far the worse bar I ve tried. Viva la body discontinued their brand so I tried 3 shampoo bars in a row. The others are OK, but this one is to avoid at all cost. Unless you want your hair to feel like you've just been out for a swim in the ocean and forgot to rinse out. Completely stripped them out of their natural oil and keratin. Henve the review so you don't make my mistake.

Hi Anick, thanks for your review. Firstly I’d like to point out that all reviews are definitely real as they are from verified buyers confirmed with their different payment methods, email and shipping addresses.
Secondly, I’m sorry that this shampoo bar didn’t work out for you. I had a look at the other brand you used in the past and it is made from synthetic detergents which leave a different and softer feel on the hair without the need for conditioner.
My shampoo bars are soap (not detergent), made the traditional way of saponifying fats through a chemical reaction with water and sodium hydroxide.
They require a lot more nuance and patience to get right (I have a tried and tested method for washing your hair with this soap written in the product description). I understand this approach may not be suitable for all users. My customers who are determined and take the time with the hair washing routine are very pleased with the results.

I have very fine hair, which often looks limp and with no body.
This shampoo bar is the best I’ve tried so far and I’ve tried many.
After washing I use a ACV rinse and my hair is looking so much healthier, softer and full of body.

Where are your ingredients sourced?

Our animal fats are sourced locally in NSW, rendered in-house and purified 3+ times

Our Tallow is grass-fed from the pristine Southern Highlands.

Our Lard is sourced from a small regenerative in Murringo, just outside of Canberra, from happy pigs free to explore and dig about.

Do your products have an animal smell?

Our animal fats are triple purified and we aim to have very minimal beefy/porky smells. While for some people it may be not noticeable, others may be a little more sensitive.

All of our products are infused with real medicinal botanicals, which have a softer scent unlike essential oils and fragrances.

Are your products pregnancy/breastfeeding safe?

Our products are almost good enough to eat! (But please don’t)

We don’t use any essential oils or fragrances in our products, and there are absolutely no harsh chemicals.
