    The perfect hair routine

    1. Massage Scalp Elixir into scalp and leave on for 1-2 hours or more

    2. Wash scalp thoroughly with Shampoo Bar by lathering into scalp, avoiding washing the ends of your hair. Rinse out shampoo with water. 

    Ensure bar is thoroughly dry before storing in tin to maximise its life. 

    3. Rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar. Mix approximately 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water in a squeeze sauce bottle and squeeze the mixture through your scalp/hair. Wash out thoroughly with water

    4. Apply Hair Conditioner to your ends and rinse thoroughly. 

     

    Description

    Funky cut may have some cosmetic irregularities, and be smaller in size (weigh between 70-90g).

    A solid shampoo bar with no added synthetic detergents or surfactants. Hand made naturally & traditionally through saponifying fats and oils.

    Organic Beer is naturally high in B vitamins, and other trace vitamins, minerals antioxidants and flavonoids to keep hair strong and shiny. Malt and hops that are present in beer contain a protein to help repair damaged hair.

    Raw honey contains sugars to naturally keep frizz at bay and add shine to hair.

    How to use

    A synthetic surfactant based shampoo (liquid and solid bars) strips your scalp of its natural oils. If you have never used a solid shampoo soap bar in the past, please note there may be an adjustment period of 1-2 months of your scalp rebalancing its oils.

    Please note this Shampoo Bar may not be suitable if you have hard water in your home. You may need a shower filter to soften your water in order to use this Shampoo Bar successfully.

    Pleasantly surprised!

    I was hesitant as this was my first time using a shampoo bar, however this purchase was one of many from Gaia Uncovered so I assumed it would be good! I've been using this shampoo followed by the ACV rinse and conditioner and couldn't be happier. It took a couple of washes to get the hang of it (you need a really good lather and to rinse really well) but my hair has more shine, lasts longer between washes and isn't so dull and heavy. Love it and will continue to use!!

    Great shampoo bar

    I’ve been afraid to try natural shampoos as I have fine hair and often find they weigh my hair down. This shampoo bar cleans my hair and adds protein and moisture to it and my hair is already much stronger and more shiny. I also wanted to avoid chemicals and fragrances in my hair care and this shampoo has none of that. It’s got a beautiful scent of the natural ingredients which I love.
    It took me a couple of washes to get used to the feeling of my hair straight after shampooing which if different from commercial products. I’ve used this shampoo bar for about 3 weeks and can’t wait to see what it does to my hair over longer time.

    Love this shampoo

    Love this shampoo bar! I have tried both and for my finer hair I prefer this one, not sure if it’s the lard over the tallow that works better for me but this is definitely the only shampoo I’ll be using. My hair feels really full and thick after using it. I have damaged ends and fine hair. My hair feels nice and healthy after this. I follow up with ACV rinse and the Gaia conditioner.

    Amazing shampoo for dry and damaged hair

    After one use my wavy hair has come back with no frizz what so ever !
    My hair had been damaged from previous bleaching-leaving it feeling dry and dead
    I had struggled to find a natural product that would get my wave/curl back

    Are your products Halal certified?

    We are working on having all of our products created from halal suet! You can find our current halal products here.
    We process halal suet using brand new equipment that has never touched najis.

    Where are your ingredients sourced?

    Our animal fats are sourced locally in NSW, rendered in-house and purified 3+ times

    Our Tallow is grass-fed from the pristine Southern Highlands.

    Our Lard is sourced from a small regenerative in Murringo, just outside of Canberra, from happy pigs free to explore and dig about.

    Do your products have an animal smell?

    Our animal fats are triple purified and we aim to have very minimal beefy/porky smells. While for some people it may be not noticeable, others may be a little more sensitive.

    All of our products are infused with real medicinal botanicals, which have a softer scent unlike essential oils and fragrances.

    Are your products pregnancy/breastfeeding safe?

    Our products are almost good enough to eat! (But please don’t)

    We don’t use any essential oils or fragrances in our products, and there are absolutely no harsh chemicals.

    So YES! Our products are absolutely safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding.
